We are thrilled to share the results of our recent participation in the Varac Vintage Grand Prix, held at the legendary Mosport circuit from June 14th to 16th.
On Friday, we secured the pole position in our group during qualifying, Which heralded a good weekend in perspective.
On Saturday, during Race #1, we managed to maintain our position and crossed the finish line in first place. In Race #2, we valiantly defended our position but ultimately had to settle for a respectable second place.
On Sunday, during the third race, we unfortunately encountered some difficulties. A lack of spare tires and slippery track conditions led to premature tire wear, revealing the metal cords through the tread. These circumstances forced us to finish in fourth position.
Despite this setback, we are satisfied with the overall performance of our car. However, we plan to make some modifications in preparation for the next Peter Jackson race in Shannonville, taking place on July 13th.
Finally, we would like to make an appeal to all spectators and amateur photographers. If you have any pictures of our car from the race, we would be delighted to add them to our website, with your permission of course.
We would like to thank all our supporters for their constant encouragement and look forward to seeing you on the track at our next race.
